Dr David Gelbmann

Dr. David Gelbmann is a board certified (ABFAS & ABPM) podiatric physician and surgeon who specializes in treating all ailments of the foot, ankle and leg. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing who takes a special interest in the healing of complicated wounds of the lower extremity. His other areas of focus are treatment of chronic foot and leg pain, as well as sports medicine. He  is om staff at Northwestern and Weiss Memorial hospitals.

Dr. Gelbmann is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with dual degrees in molecular biology and biology. He attended the Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine. Afterward, he completed an intense 3-year surgical residency at one of Detroit’s largest and busiest hospitals — St. John Hospital and Medical Center. While a resident, he performed 2-5 foot and ankle surgeries per day under the tutelage of over 40 of Detroit’s best foot and ankle doctors. Following residency, he settled in Vernon Hills, as an associate in a private practice, before he settled in Chicago.In his free time, Dr. Gelbmann enjoys running, softball, and spending time with his wife and young children. He also volunteers yearly in the medical tent at the Chicago Marathon and other Midwest running events.

DR. RAMSHA ALI TANWIR

Dr. Ramsha Ali Tanwir was raised in the suburbs of Chicago. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Chicago. Dr. Tanwir completed her medical education from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and her surgical residency from Weiss Memorial Hospital. Dr. Tanwir has a patient-centric focused care plan individualized for patient’s needs and lifestyle. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and trying new restaurants.
